Nigel and I got a great deal out of the seminar. I particularly liked the one on one chance to work with you on each of the new items we learned. It pays to be proacitve in one of these seminars. Being a teacher, I know that children have different learning styles. I'm new to the sport of dog obedience but sense that dogs also have different learning styles, especially the small dog. I reached a plateau in training and wanted my training methods to be more motivational and fun for my dogs. WOW! Your seminar surpassed my expectations. My dogs were so excited and happy to participate. I can't wait to start practicing what I've learned. No more skill and drill like a military boot camp. I think you are wonderful and your training methods are terrific. A small dog camp is particularly helpful to our little shy and sensitive companions.Attention could have been an entire workshop in itself. One of the biggest problems with novice trainers is that they do not have a good enough picture of the finished product to know what is imortant when training. They focus on every little thing or nothing. With experience, you learn the essence of each routine/trick/stunt and train accordingly. Watching you has sure helped me. I also thought your 5 minute private sessions were incredible. Taping the session with your individual commentary was extraordinarily helpful. It is obvious that you are dedicated to helping US succeed in this sport.

Your camp was great. Changing from training and showing large breeds to a corgi had presented me with some interesting challenges. You helped me see the small dog perspective so that I can retool my training. Thanks so much for sharing you wealth of knowledge!
